
‘Klinkt als Weekend’ wins Greatest TikTok of the Year at TikTok Ad Awards 2025
Another win – and a big one. At the TikTok Ad Awards 2025 Benelux, ‘Klinkt als Weekend’ was awarded Greatest TikTok of the Year. This honour celebrates the campaign that used the platform in the most creative, innovative and truly TikTok-native way.
A social-first idea that swept across the country
At TBWA\NEBOKO, we set out to create a campaign that was built for TikTok from the ground up; and “Klinkt als Weekend” became exactly that. From day one, it was shaped as a true social-first activation, with music at the core and platform culture as the creative engine.
We transformed Whigfield’s iconic ‘Saturday Night’ into a brand-new weekend anthem, performed by Corry Konings and Bram Krikke. The result hit TikTok instantly: a track that perfectly captured the humour, rhythm and energy of the platform.
The campaign exploded in popularity, generating 303 million impressions and inspiring over 12,500 user-generated videos. And it didn’t stop there – the song spread far beyond TikTok, becoming a moment in stores and even a hit on Spotify.
Taking home the biggest award of the night
The win of Greatest TikTok of the Year marks the ultimate recognition: awarded to the campaign that truly harnessed the creativity of the platform and delivered standout cultural and creative impact.
