Darre van Dijk
Chief Creative Officer
Darre is Chief Creative Officer at TBWA\NEBOKO since January 2016 and a member of TBWA’s Global Creative Core, the agency’s leadership group executing its Disruption® ethos worldwide.
Before joining TBWA\NEBOKO, he was CCO at Ogilvy & Mather Amsterdam for a decade. His work has earned over 300 awards, including a Cannes Grand Prix for DELA’s ‘Why wait until it’s too late’, a campaign that won 50+ international awards and was adapted into a TV format by Talpa.
Beyond advertising, Darre expresses his creativity through music. Under the alias Darius Dante, he writes and produces music recognized with Lions and Clios in music & entertainment. At Ogilvy, he helped lead Coca-Cola’s global ‘Choose Happiness’ campaign, with hits like ‘What are you waiting for’—one of 2015’s most Shazamed ads—and ‘The choice is yours’, featured in Ubisoft’s Just Dance Now 2016.
At TBWA\NEBOKO, Darre champions unconventional, culturally resonant work. From award-winning adidas campaigns and the Gouden Loeki-winning Dutch State Lottery spots, to McDonald’s branded content and Albert Heijn’s format-driven Appie Today platform, his philosophy is to make more than just ads. Under his leadership, TBWA\NEBOKO won 16 Cannes Lions, was named Agency of the Year in 2018, and helped the Dutch State Lottery become Advertiser of the Year in 2019.
Widely regarded as one of the Netherlands’ top creative storytellers, Darre continues to inspire by creating work that moves people.
