PR & Brand Internship
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Company: TBWANEBOKO Amsterdam
About TBWANEBOKO Amsterdam:
TBWANEBOKO Amsterdam is part of TBWA, a global disruption company that challenges conventional thinking and transforms brands through innovative and creative strategies. We believe in disrupting the status quo to achieve outstanding results for our clients. As a leading agency committed to pushing boundaries, we foster a dynamic, forward-thinking environment that encourages creativity, agility, and bold ideas. We are also deeply committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
Position Overview:
You’ll work closely with the PR & Brand Manager and the Junior PR & Brand Manager of TBWA\NEBOKO. Together, you’ll form the PR department. You’ll be the go-to team for everything related to press and external communications: from sharing new work and noteworthy agency news with the outside world to organizing events and parties. In short, you’ll be doing PR for your own advertising agency and become the voice of TBWA\NEBOKO externally.
On an average day, you’ll be managing and maintaining our social media channels by brainstorming, creating, gathering and scheduling content. You’ll also support the creation of press releases and other communications, help keep the website up to date and contribute ideas for events and activations.
Because the PR department is relatively small, you’ll work closely as part of a team, while also getting the opportunity to take ownership of projects independently. PR touches every part of the agency, meaning you’ll be in constant contact with different departments and fellow interns across TBWA\NEBOKO.
About You:
Whatever the goal is — you go for it. Obstacles? No problem. You consistently find ways to exceed expectations. Naturally curious, you’re eager to learn new things and not afraid to make mistakes along the way. You love new challenges and have a strong interest in PR, marketing and social media.
You’re social, communicative and proactive. You’re sharp, not afraid to chase people when needed, and confident enough to bring your own ideas to the table.
Qualifications:
- You speak and write fluent Dutch and English, as part of our agency is international.
- You are currently enrolled in a study program for which this internship is a mandatory part, and you can provide an internship agreement from your school/university.
What’s in it for you?
- A steep learning curve — fast.
- The opportunity to work for major clients.
- Lots of inspiring colleagues who genuinely care about each other.
- You’ll become part of a close-knit intern community across different departments.
- Agency events, weekly drinks at our in-house bar and sunny waterside terrace.
- And if the internship itself wasn’t enough… quite a few interns end up staying for their first — and sometimes even second or third — job with us. So who knows?
